MOCA to Show Jennifer Packer

MOCA's first post-lockdown loan exhibition will be "Jennifer Packer: Every Shut Eye Ain't Sleep." Organized by Bennett Simpson with Anastasia Kahn, it will open in the Grand Avenue building July 1, 2021 (closing date to be announced). It's billed as the artist's first West Coast showing.

Also curated by Simpson is a new installation, "Our House: Selections from MOCA's Permanent Collection." Opening June 3, it surveys work from the 1950s to the present and includes acquisitions made during the pandemic downtime.
