The Cheech to Open with De La Torre Brothers

The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture will open with a temporary exhibition on Einar and Jamex De La Torre, reports ArtNews. Trained as glassblowers, the Guadalajara-born brothers create assemblages that tweak consumerism, globalism, and trans-border identities. 

The Cheech, which will also feature an extensive installation of the founder's collection, opens May 8, 2022, in the former Riverside Public Library.
