The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has announced a group of gifts to its museum and library. Among them is a set of 157 vintage (1932-1952) animation cels donated by Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw, spanning early Disney princesses and Warner Brothers' occasional drag icon Bugs Bunny.

Other acquisitions include 600 silent movie posters collected by Dwight Manley; materials relating to filmmakers Harold Ramis and Greg Araki; costumes and props from Everything Everywhere All at Once, Sorry to Bother You, and Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. The latter item is the "Blue Boy" velvet suit referenced in a 2020 post.

Re Bugs Bunny (as Carmen Miranda), about 1944: In today's Florida that bunny would be jailed as a "groomer".

In today's Disney (or Warner Bros), Bugs Bunny (as Carmen Miranda) would have vocals done by Dylan Mulvaney.

And Dylan Mulvaney would've done a fabulous job! Happy Pride!
