Four 1930s Dream Cars Donated to Petersen

Late automobile collector Peter Mullin has bequeathed four Art Deco-era cars to the Petersen Automotive Museum. They are a 1937 Talbot-Lago T150 CS "Teardrop"; a 1938 Hispano-Suiza Dubonnet; a 1938 Delahaye 145; and a 1939 Delahaye 165.

Mullin, who lived in Brentwood, sat on the board of the Petersen while operating his own car museum in Oxnard, the Mullin Automotive Museum. The latter, founded in 2010, will be closing permanently on Feb. 10, 2024.

In recent years Mullin was planning to open a Norman Foster-designed museum for his collection in West Oxfordshire, England. That ambitious project was active as recently as December 2022
