Anybody Want to Buy This Cranach?

Sothebys auctioned LACMA's St. Cecilia, its only Joshua Reynolds, for $782,500 (including buyer premium) last night. The other LACMA lot, Lucas Cranach the Elder's portrait of an unknown man, apparently failed to sell — it's not listed on
the Sothebys auction results page. Neither work was a curatorial favorite (obviously), and the proceeds are to fund future acquisitions.
