The Matisse on the Patio

The Los Angeles Times has a great photo of the Matisse mural Sheaf, in the patio of the A. Quincy Jones-designed Brody home in Holmby Hills. According to the Times, the 12-foot ceramic piece has been lifted out by crane and arrived safely at LACMA, where it is expected to go on view in about six months. For more on the mural's history, see here. The Brody estate is auctioning its modern art collection and has pledged some of the proceeds to the Huntington.
