The Getty Research Institute has acquired the archive of Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. The holding covers all phases of both polymaths' work, in Oldenburg's case from age 7. (As a child he created Neubern, an imaginary island nation, and drew everything in it.)

There are unpublished diaries, note books, and poetry; manuscript, photo, audio, and video documentation of performances, sculptures, printmaking, and the couple's 30+ large-scale monuments. Some 2000 sketches and collages constitute what I'd guess is the largest collection of Oldenburg and van Bruggen drawings.
