Hammer Buys a John Ahearn

John Ahearn, Sleepy Maxo with Blue Jersey, 2020

The UCLA Hammer Museum has acquired John Ahearn's Sleepy Maxo with Blue Jersey, an acrylic on plaster portrait of L.A. hip-hop artist Maxo Allen. Sleepy Maxo was in a show at Charlie James Gallery this January.
