On View in Bentonville

Another Zumthor-construction loan of a LACMA painting: George Bellows' Cliff Dwellers (1913) is on view at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, Bentonville, Ark. Cliff Dwellers was the first painting acquired by the brand-new Los Angeles County Museum of History, Science and Art in Exposition Park.

Other LACMA paintings have been lent to the Getty, the Huntington, and the Norton Simon.

Hey, Mattia Nuzzos of LA and Southern California. Given the destruction of LACMA - logistically, symbolically, technically, financially, operationally, conceptually - Crystal Bridges should just keep the Bellows. They'll be better safeguards of the public trust than Govan, Zumothor and LACMA's trustees are.
