Chicano Art Museum Proposed for Boyle Heights

Urbanize LA reports that Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao's preliminary design for an affordable housing complex in Boyle Heights includes a museum space for Chicano art. It's not clear whether there's any organization willing and able to program the space. 

The planned complex is at 2141 E. Cesar Chavez Blvd. The museum would be in the six-story tower (at right in the sketch).
