This summer the Long Beach Museum of Art will have a show of Matisse drawings, curated by the late Ellsworth Kelly. The selection of about 45 drawings, from the Pierre and Tana Matisse Foundation, was originally displayed at Mount Holyoke College Art Museum, Mass., in 2014. At LBMA "Matisse Drawings" runs June 8–Sep. 2, 2018.
