A display at UCLA's Fowler Museum reimagines mid-century living with contemporary Australian textile designs by Patricia Marrfurra McTaggart AM. It's part of "Aboriginal Screen-Printed Textiles From Australia's Top End," through July 10, 2022.

I recall several years ago seeing from the collection of the Southwest/Autry Museum dozens of textiles of Native American origin. The technical and creative skill (the use of color and pattern) evident in what were mainly rugs was a reminder that amazing know-how exists throughout the world and spans the centuries.
