Jerusalem Museum of Tolerance Is Too L.A., Say Critics

As it launches a long-delayed soft opening, the Jerusalem branch of the Museum of Tolerance is drawing fire for relying too heavily on the L.A. museum's exhibit designs and for shunning input from Israeli curators. Both museums are initiatives of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, Los Angeles. The Times of Israel quotes an unnamed Israeli museum official:  "Why do they think in LA that they’re better than us, that they can tell us what to do here?… If they think that they can preach tolerance to the natives in the craziest city on Earth, they don’t know where they’re living."
