Hammer to Survey Ulysses Jenkins

The UCLA Hammer Museum will present the first retrospective of pioneering video artist Ulysses Jenkins. Co-organized with ICA Philadelphia (where it runs through Dec. 31), it spans videos, murals, photography, performance, and collaborations (with Maren Hassinger, Kerry James Marshall, and Senga Nengudi among others). Curators are Meg Onli (ICA Philadelphia) and Erin Christovale and Ikechukwu Onyewuenyi (Hammer).

"Ulysses Jenkins: Without Your Interpretation" runs at the Hammer Feb. 6 to May 15, 2022.
