At least one local museum was buying at Frieze Los Angeles. The UCLA Hammer Museum has acquired Karon Davis' Game, a three-figure installation addressing school shootings, and a monumental ( 53 x 114-1/2 in.) charcoal drawing by Mary Corse. The latter, offered by Kanye Griffin Corcoran, sold for a reported $150,000.
